Traveling to Boston

APC2Friends, you have, no doubt, noticed that new updates have been rather slow on the Preachers Institute these past few weeks.

This is in anticipation of The “Art of Speaking” Workshop and another special event coming this December. Therefore, I’m letting you know that there will be no updates on the Preachers Institute Website this coming week, as I will be traveling to Boston, MA to attend the “Art of Speaking” Workshop hosted by the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology from Sept. 28- Oct 1.

If any of you are going to be attending, I hope to meet up with you there!

I hope to bring you some highlights, photos, and a synopsis of the event, and maybe even something of value to post on our forums!

In any event, I ask your holy prayers for my safe travel, and for a successful endeavor there.

What I really look like - should you see me.
What I really look like - should you see me.

The Preachers Institute was formed to promote excellence in preaching among Orthodox Christians preachers, teachers, evangelists and clergy. We are very happy that the Archdiocesan Presbyters Council and Holy Cross Seminary have taken up our cause, and has offered this seminar.

In the meantime, please continue to offer helpful critique of sermons posted in the Forums, and offer your own sermons, illustrations, humor and help there as well. We’re all in the same boat, struggling to reach our flock with the Gospel which will transform them, and us. It is worth the time and effort. Take the risk and reap the benefits.

Fr. Serge and I have an announcement which will be revealed when I return. In the meantime, be assured of my prayers for you and your loved ones.
