Two Weeks, and Counting…

keep-calm-only-2-more-weeks-3

by Fr. John A. Peck

That’s how long until we launch the Old Testament Challenge. This is important – most people have never read the entire New Testament, let alone the entire, full canon, Orthodox Old Testament. We’ve offered a way to get you warmed up, and make it easier for you to hit the ground running.

We offered suggestions on getting a reading partner or conscripting a group of supportive fellow readers – even getting your priest involved in the group, to answer some of the questions that will come up over some of the hard, and hard to understand, things in the Bible.

Ultimately, this is an exercise for you. You decide whether or not to take this challenge. Because it is a significant challenge, I do recommend letting others know publicly, so that you have some accountability on those long, hard, tired days. Yes, the schedule gives breaks, and yes, it is a limited amount of time every day, but stuff happens! If you fail to prepare, you are preparing for failure!

Have you received your copy of our Ebook yet? If not, get one now. The password to access the reading schedule is inside this book. Without it, you won’t get access.
