The topic for Saturday, November 23 – Day Nine of our blogging exercise is
SABBATH
As some of you may know, the Sabbath was never abolished, but fulfilled in Christ (which we celebrate on Holy Saturday) and then superceded since the Apostolic era as a principle day of worship by the Lord’s Day (Sunday).
Some have been told that Sunday is now the ‘Sabbath’, but this, of course, is false. The word ‘sabbath’ means ‘seventh.’
