Old Testament Challenge: 1 Week Down

stairs of the Old Testament ChallengeOk, kids – tomorrow on our schedule is REST OR CATCH UP day. Have you dropped out? No?

You’ve successfully made it through the first week!

If you joined us late, no problem, use this time to do a little catching up. If you skipped some, this is your day for that catching up, also.

Please make notes as you go, handwritten in your journal.

Please ask questions at our Facebook Group page: HERE

And please keep up the good work. We will spend the next two weeks (and then some) completing the Penteteuch. These books are loaded with history, prophecy, typology, wisdom and more.

Watch for glimmers of the Trinity. Watch for images of Christ. Watch for signs of the Church – before Christ we refer to it as the Synagogue (as the Fathers refer to it), and we see that this Covenantal worshippers were one. Not always united in mind, but always united in worship, with consequences when they did not follow God’s commands for that worship.

Finally, keep praying for everyone in the Challenge.

If you want more material to help you along in the Old Testament Challenge, try the workbook, Called To Serve. You can even see what a few reviewers have had to say about it HERE.
